Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi
Our representative will pick you up from Noi Bai Airport and take you to your hotel in a private car. Spend the rest of your time leisurely, take a walk around the area, and enjoy some local cuisine.
Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.
Day 2: Explore Halong Bay
Drive to Halong Bay – Around 2.5-3 hrs one way
Halong Bay Cruise – Around 3.5 hrs
St. Charles Church (Karlskirche)– Around 1 hr
Full from breakfast, head to Halong Bay– the first landmark of Vietnam enlisted as the UNESCO World Heritage Site, and soak in the towering limestone mountains on emerald water, beautiful floating villages, and caves in a Halong Bay Cruise. If you’d like, visit either Thien Cung or Dau Go Cave.
Return to Hanoi in the evening.

Day 3: Discover Hanoi + Flight to Hue
Total time: 2-6 hrs
Hoan Kiem Lake & Old Quarter walk – Around 1.5 hrs
Tran Quoc Pagoda – Around 30-45 mins
Quan Thanh Temple – Around 30 mins
Museum of Ethnology – Around 1-1.5 hrs
Temple of Literature – Around 1 hr
Full from breakfast, we go on a walking tour around the legendary Hoan Kiem Lake and the bustling Old Quarter. Explore Tran Quoc Pagoda, one of the oldest lakeside Buddhist temples in Vietnam, and the ancient Taoist temple, Quan Thanh Temple. Enjoy the doverse cultural exhibits of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups at the Museum of Ethnology. Visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university, and a tribute to Confucius with its Confucian architecture.
Later in the day, we fly to Vietnam’s ancient imperial city, Hue.

Day 4: Explore Hue’s Imperial Heritage
Total time: 3-6.5 hrs
Imperial Citadel – Around 1.5-2 hrs
Khai Dinh Tomb – Around 1 hr
Tu Duc Tomb – Around 1 hr
Thien Mu Pagoda – Around 30-45 mins
Perfume River Cruise with folk show – Around 1.5 hrs
After breakfast, we visit Hue’s impressive royal landmarks, once home to Vietnam’s emperors, and the beautiful yet contrasting tombs of Emperor Khai Dinh with a European-influenced structure and Emperor Tu Duc, a peaceful mausoleum for the royals back then, in a forested area. Walk through the gigantic Imperial Citadel, the walled fortress of the Nguyen Dynasty.
We’ll also stop by Thien Mu Pagoda, a peaceful Buddhist temple on the riverside of the Perfume River. After that’s done, hop onto a relaxing cruise on the Perfume River with traditional folk music and performance.

Day 5: Scenic Drive to Hoi An via Danang
Total time: 3.5-7 hrs
Drive to Lang Co Beach via Hai Van Pass – Around 2.5-3 hrs
Cham Museum – Around 1 hr
Drive from Danang to Hoi An – Around 1 hr
Japanese Covered Bridge – Around 30 mins
Chinese Assembly Hall – Around 30-45 mins
Old merchant houses – Around 30-45 mins
Once the breakfast is done, we head to the scenic Hai Van Pass at pause for a photo stop at Lang Co Beach. Then we visit the Cham Museum in Danang which showcases their antique Cham sculptures in sandstone. Continue to Hoi An with its magical with the lantern-lit streets and explore its historical sites like the iconic 18th century Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Assembly Halls that is a highly decorated meeting place for the Chinese community in Hoi An, and old merchant houses.

Day 6: Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh City
Total time: Around 5 hrs
Reunification Palace – Around 45 mins- 1 hr
Notre Dame Cathedral – Around 20 mins
War Remnants Museum – Around 1 hr
Chinatown (Cho Lon) – Around 1-1.5 hrs
Ben Thanh Market – Around 1 hr
After breakfast, we fly to vibrant Ho Chi Minh City. Explore the major landmarks that write Vietnamese history, like Reunification Palace, a historic government building; Notre Dame Cathedral, a French-colonial church; War Remnants Museum, with exhibits of the Vietnam War; Chinatown, and Ben Thanh Market. This day is a blend of modernity and colonial experiences.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 7: Mekong Delta Adventures
Total time: Around 6- 9.30 hrs
Drive to My Tho- Around 1.5-2 hrs (one way)
Boat Trip on the Mekong Delta- Around 1.5-2 hrs
Phoenix Island – Around 1-2 hrs
Sampan ride – Around 30 mins
Ben Thanh Market – Around 1 hr
Have your breakfast, then head to a drive from Ho Chi Ming City to My Tho. From there, we set off on a boat trip to through the Mekong Delta. Its winding waterways take you to Phoenix Island, which is famous for its tropical island and savoring some local fruits, coconut candy, with traditional music in the background. Enjoy a sampan ride through the narrow canals here with palm trees that meets the eye. Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the evening.

Day 8: Cu Chi Tunnels & Departure
Drive to Cu Chi Tunnels – Around 1.5 hrs
Explore tunnels – Around 1.5-2 hrs
Return to Ho Chi Minh City – Around 1.5 hrs
In the morning, head to Cu Chi Tunnels from Ho Chi Minh City in a private car. These underground tunnels were used by Vietnamese soldiers during the war. Explore the hidden trapdoors, narrow tunnels to see how strategically these tunnels were made.
Return to the city, grab some local food, get some last-minute souvenirs if you like, and then, depending on your flight time, head to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your travel back home.
