After breakfast, travel via train to Hallstatt, a lakeside gem that seems to have been taken straight out of a dream, in the center of the Salzkammergut. Take a walking tour with a guide through its winding streets.

You’ll feel like you’re on top of the world when you ride the funicular up to the Skywalk World Heritage View. Visit the Hallstatt Bone House, a little yet distinctive ossuary next to the church.

Stroll down Maria-Theresien Strasse, a bustling avenue lined with shops, cafes, and street entertainers.
