Day 1: Arrival at Bali + Uluwatu Temple & Sunset + Jimbaran Bay

Arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport. Reach your hotel in Seminyak. In the evening, visit the Uluwatu Temple to catch a beautiful sunset from it. If you’d like, watch a traditional Kecak fire dance performance. Or you can head straight to Jimbaran Bay for a delicious seafood or local dinner.

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy your day with a cultural tour of Bali’s capital city, Denpasar. Visit the Bajra Sandhi Monument, a monument built in memory of the Balinese heroes, who shouldn’t be unsung as their strength and unity against the tide of hardships protected the land of Bali. Enjoy the Balinese vibe in the city’s local art. Additionally, consider visiting Puputan Square and the Bali Museum.

Then drive to Ubud, crossing the terrain rice fields and reach Ubud Palace. Take a stroll into Ubud Market and take in the liveliness of the place.

After breakfast, drive from Ubud to Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, set on the beautiful Lake Beratan. There is more to serenity today, with a drive to Tanah Lot Sea Temple. This temple couldn’t be more iconic, as you catch a sunset here, with not just the glow of the sun setting for the day, but that happening on the horizon of the sea, while you are standing in a sacred temple like this.
